Mark One87 is a freelance creative based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Specialising in Mural and Graffiti art with over 20 years experience. Combining graffiti techniques with design and illustration, Mark creates bespoke artwork for clients around the North East and further afield in the UK.
Mark also has a passion for community arts and has worked for many years facilitating workshops and community art projects around his mural work. In recent times he has also ventured into work as an art mentor, working with young people to develop their creative skills for academic and personal development.
In 2024 Mark launched Elements: Street Art Festival, working alongside Building Culture CIC to bring a new street art festival to the Ouseburn area of Newcastle with a community focus.
As well as working as an artist, Mark is also experienced in project management and creative direction, working with local authorities and organisations to devise and facilitate public artwork projects.
